Leading innovation in heating control and bringing “Thermostatic Radiator Valve’s” (TRV’s) in to 21st Century, the innovative award winning eTRV controls radiators individually, only heating rooms when needed. Surpassing the requirements of building regulations, eTRV provides both time and temperature control, enabling every room to be treated as an individual heating zone.
eTRV gives realistic potential for 25% energy savings. Three programmes each day maximise savings and the precise thermostat reacts quickly, improving comfort. Fitting to existing or new heating systems is simple and can contribute to making substantial reductions to UK carbon emissions.
eTRV’s innovative design
The eTRV has patented features including the use of dual temperature sensors:

The first senses the ambient air temperature around the valve head (as found with conventional TRV’s) |

The second, located at the base, senses the temperature near the radiator flow pipe |
This allows a “temperature offset” to be calculated, resulting in improved control accuracy, by taking account of the heating flow temperature.
Coupled with the use of a fast response and quiet and efficient motor, over/under heating problems inherent with slow acting mechanical TRV’s have now been solved.
Why choose eTRV?

eTRV’s have the potential to save considerably more than mechanical TRV’s |

Patented "Dual Sensor Technology" for accurate temperature control |

Controls radiators individually maximising zoning potential |

Remote control – easily enables users to locally interact with their heating |

Clear and intuitive remote control |

Attractive eTRV design |

Improves comfort with a choice of daily temperature settings (off, low, economy and comfort) |

Quiet motorised valve, directly replaces traditional TRV's |

Low cost, simple to install and use |

The existing TRV valve body is retained and eTRV is supplied with two sizes of adaptor rings 28mm and 30mm threaded, to prevent the need for changing most TRV valve bodies. Click here to see Valve Adaptor List. |
